I have K-Lite Standard Pack. Whenever I play a audio/video file using Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic, there will be random "fast-forward" during the playback. The "fast-forward" is brief, but enough to ruin the music. Meanwhile the video seems to fast-forward as well. HOWEVER, VLC Player and Cool Edit Pro never have this problem on my PC. When I want to listen to a song, I have to open VLC or Cool Edit to play it.
So, what is it that:
1. Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic have (I guess they both use the same codecs?),
2. VLC Player and Cool Edit Pro 2.1 don't have. (what, doesn't Cool Edit use codecs too?)
I want to find out. I want to be able to use Media Player Classic normally, because VSFilter won't work on VLC.
