"Play All" in vista

I have WMP completely disabled and all audio/video defaults to VLC.

When I'm in my music folder, if I select "Play All" from the blue "folder tasks" bar, nothing happens. And if I select more than about 3/4 of my music files, then the "Play All" button disappears entirely and when I hit enter to open them in VLC, nothing happens. They're all mp3. Does anyone know how to fix this, or how to "add to current playlist" or something so I can just open half and then add the rest?

Hi,

Here are some informations about Vista's behaviour on my side :
-selecting 15 music files and hitting Enter or clicking Play -not Play All-, runs VLC media player with a playlist of these 15 files playing the last one
-selecting 16 music files makes the button Play beeing changed into Play With Windows Media Player
-the button Play All always runs Windows Media Player, so the only way I know to fix the Play All button is to reinstall Windows Media Player

Configuration : Windows Vista Ultimate 32
Windows Media Player v11.6001
VLC media player v0.8.6f

a+, =)

You can just drag-and-drop into the Playlist editor in VLC, so open that first then drag the files across.
