Screen saver - Question - issue?

It seems that Windows screen saver is disabled if VLC is running BUT is Paused. Is there a work around? If not I guess this needs to be a feature request though to me it seems like a bug.
It means I can never just leave a video open for later viewing. I hope there is a quick fix.

I usually just disable the screensaver anyway since I have my monitor set to turn off every 15 minutes or so, but there is an option in the preferences of VLC that should allow users to turn off or disable the screensaver. If for some reason VLC does this automatically even when the option is disabled then maybe it might be a bug.

First try a nightly build, and if the problem still exists then you might want to create a ticket in the trac (not as easy as it seems ).

I think what he's saying is even when this option is enabled, if the video is paused or stopped the screen saver should still run.

Hasn't this been fixed in 0.9.0? I remember someone already mentioning the problem (in trac?).
