[Report] VLC media player has encountered a problem

Good day.

When I try to launch .asx file in VLC (version 0.8.6c), it dies of some reason. I watched this file in previous version (0.8.6b), and it worked just fine, aswell as in WMP.

ModName: libvlc.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 0009c98e

Windows XP Pro, SP2.

Here is attachment, if you need to test it by self. (hum, how do i attach files? )

Try resetting Preferences or better yet erase the preferences folder.
