VideoLan on Vista Plays audio but only 1 frame of video

Postby dac9 » 08 Jun 2007 02:01

Hey,
VideoLan Plays one frame of the video and then stays on that frame even though the audio continues. The video never seems to start again but the audio continues as if there is no problem.

Using:
VideoLan 0.8.6B
OS: Vista ultimate

Not sure if relevant but have installed the K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 3.1.5

Regards,
dac9

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

Please remember to search the forums, in fact there's a sticky at the top of this page on Vista. 8) Alright, manually switch to "DirectX video output": Preferences > video > output modules > check the box "Advanced options" and select it from the drop-list. If "DirectX video output" doesn't work for you try "DirectX 3D video output".

And if the UI switches to Basic, try the OpenGL output module.
