BUG:closing Visualizing window will close video
Posted: 09 May 2007 00:24
i just downloaded the latest vlc (nightly build) for windows and testet it a bit. fi guess there is a bug within the visualizing or window management thingy. its like this and its repeatable:
1. open a video file and play it
2. menu audio / visualize / goom > another viz window opens and it is good
3. now try to close the viz. window with the RED X upper right and both will go down. the Viz. window AND the video will close. however player keeps open but stops.
i guess this is no what it is supposed to be.
in my opinion (intuitive usage) it just should close (disable) the viz. window again. nothing else
oh btw! if i do disable the viz. window again from the AUDIO / VIZ menu the viz window will STOP but NOT CLOSE! however at least the video keeps on running. but even here, as soon u try to close the halted viz window it again closes all the player n stops video.
community please re-check and confirm this behavour. thanks
