Thanks for the help. I still can't get any video at all. It does seem to get me closer (using UVYV) in that it now gives me additional dislog boxes for choosing the input and things like that. But no matter what settings I use, I get no video at all.Hope this helps.
Exactly the same problems I am stuck with using the PVR-500. So - is the conclusion, no support for Hauppauge HW audio?Since then, I've been trying, without success, to get audio working. I think this card has the same audio driver issues the PVR-150 has. In any case, when I select my default audio device (Realtek AC97), all I get is a escalating hissing/popping noise with very choppy video and then just silent choppy video.
I can get normal live tv playback with sound through graphedit filters but not in VLC. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
That really helped getting the video working, but I am still having the same issues with audio.Under Advanced in the same window, make sure that video input chroma format is UYVY and that Tuner properties is checked (this lets you select a channel).
No to both.Has there been any work done with VLC to fix this issue? Any workarounds?
Alright, well I put in my info at http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/1516. If anyone else has this issue they might want to comment as well. Hopefuly we can raise developer awareness of the issue, and then someone might take it on.No to both.Has there been any work done with VLC to fix this issue? Any workarounds?
