Postby Forcen » 22 Mar 2007 17:17

Every time i play a certain WMV files, i get three videowindows.
I have tried to reinstall, reset settings, deleting settings when reinstalling, but no avail.

I'm gonna post a screenshot as soon imageshack starts working.

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

Three video windows huh? I had a video that opened two, so I guess you’ve set a new record. :P It is my belief that it is the way in which VLC handles some (not all) WMVs seeing as both Windows media player  and Media player classic don’t have this problem. So maybe there will be a fix to this some time in the near future.

Sorry if my post didn’t actually solve your problem, but I’ve had this trouble too and I’ve try everything to get it to work, but to no avail. So all we can do is wait and see what happens. :)

While the video is playing, right-click on the video window and scroll down to “Video track”, disable and re-enable it (takes a few second to work). This is only a temporary fix, and if you watch this video often, it can get a little tedious. 8)
