only when people talk , the picture shows toghether with subtitle.
when there is no subtitle on the screen the whole screen is one color
but the color changes as the movie goes on.

Why not change the video output? Go to: Preferences > Video > Output modules. After you choose an output module, save and restart VLC. That is all.
