Hi

Any idea to set the default Crop and Aspect Ratio in VLC. I am using version 0.8.5? any registry or settings in anywhere?

Yeah. Go to: Preferences > Video, and under “General video settings” scroll down to “Window properties” and adjust it there. Save you’re settings and restart the player.

Done.

Hey, I just realized you double posted. So I answered this for nothing? Just for that, I’m taking away the smiley I put in my previous post.

But where it used to save those configuration?

Yes, I got that, I just want to know where the configuration used to be saved? any registry value or any file? I want to change that value from outside. not from player.

Yeah. Go to: Preferences > Video, and under “General video settings” scroll down to “Window properties” and adjust it there. Save you’re settings and restart the player.

Done.

Try 0.8.6 that issue should have been corrected.

0.8.6 and 0.8.6a is not displaying video properly.

Try erasing the preferences directory. C:\Documents and Settings\Owner (this is you)\Application Data\VLC Erase VLC, Application Data is a hidden directory so you will need to make it visible. Then reboot your machine.
