[Command Line] Silent & Custom setup...

Postby some1 » 28 Jan 2007 22:33

Hey all!
Ive just got into unattended windows setup...
I HAVE to have VLC on windows - so I want this on my disk :)
But I want the disk to be unattended - Ok VLC can do this (by /s??? is that right?)
but I want to have it in a differernt folder to the default folder (e..g C:\Appz\VLC)

Idea I had was, get to get the portable verison of VLC, then just shortcut it...
but this then doesn't do context menu (when you right click???) and also file types (e.g all avis and mpgs)....

Which way would be the best?
somehow hack the setup file, or use the portable verison?

thankyou for your time!
