bug: rogner / crop

Postby myrddwin » 17 Dec 2006 22:13

hi, I use vlc 0.8.6
when i play a video and try to crop it, all modes makes an equivalent resize
ex, a 16:10 crop do a 16:10 rezise.
i hope it will help you.
[picture0]the video in defaut size and without croping
[picture1]going to crop menu
[picture2]16:10 croping mode selected but look the video 16:10 resized
[picture3]but the resize menu is set on defaut.

bonjour, j'utilise la version 0.8.6 de vlc
lorsque je joue une video et que je tente de la rogner, vlc effectue un redimensionnement au lieu de rogner.
j'espère que ca pourra vous aider

I think I am having the same problem. I am using vlc 0.8.6 for windows and In 0.8.5 I would to click on crop "16:10" in order to get a video with black bars on top and bottom to fit my 16:10 screen and now it acts as if I am changing the aspect ration instead.

I remembered that I switch the video output module from directx to direct3d. I changed it back and that seems to have fixed my problem.

yep,

I just upgraded from 0.8.5 to 0.8.6a and am having the same problem too.

cropping doesn't crop at all, it just does the same as aspect ratio!
