Play on load

I tried to search the wiki, and also the forums I didn't have much luck.

first question is there a way, to have VLC start playing automatically upon loading a file ?

second, is there a way, to have VLC load into skinned mode, with a particular skin by default. I saw in my start menu the load with skin mode, but it always goes to the default skin.

third. sort of a feature request, or if there is a way to do it
I've been a user of media player classic for some time ( a nice little open source project,) one feature it had that i miss, under the "default zoom" setting ,where one could select what zoom level the player started up in , there was an "auto" option which would, instead of basing the zoom off the video size, would automatically resize, the player, to 3/4 of your screen size, regardless of the resolution of the video loaded, if there was a way to accomplish this with VLC i would become a very happy boy :)

thanks in advance for any help

1. This is the default action of the player.

2. In your start menu VideoLAN folder you were provided many shortcuts. One should me marked VLC media player (skins). Use it to open VLC. When VLC opens go to preferences and press Save. Then close the player. Now make a new Shortcut with nothing after VLC.EXE IE NO Options. You can now select your skin and configure it if necessary.
