Can someone tell me how i can convert videos i download from site(you tube) to my hardrive so i can watch it on my dvd player?When I try to convert it with VLC thru the "FILE--->Wizard..."step,it doesnt turn out the way I want to be becuze for some reson every video i convert,the first 20 seconds of the videos are "green" color in the left side of the screen and then its back to normal..How can i convert without geting the "greenish" color on my videos..thanks..Whenever i download,all my videos are in small MB size but i want it to be im 30-50 MB,which is about the right size file for music videos.....thanks........

I don't believe FLV files can be converted at the moment. In fact it would be rather nice if they would always play, show proper time and be able to seek within the file.

there are a few progs that can convert flv files to nearly any other format
avi(xvid, divx...) mpeg/2 (vcd svcd dvd....) quicktime etc

btw: the file size of a video depens on video length, codec, resolution, quality, etc
flv is a streaming format so quality is low(compared to mpeg4 codecs ) and files are small
