How do I disable Windows "suggestion to "Play with VLC Media Player" from my Right-Click menu?????

ie: In Windows Explorer, when I right click on an inserted DVD (eg....on D: Drive, for example), Windows "suggests Play with VLC Media Player.

How do I disable that? I've installed VLC on my work PC and want to keep it as low key as possible.

Thanks,

You uninstall VLC and reinstall :)

Well, that makes no sense....but I see a smiley after the sentence, so I guess it's some kind of joke...but I don't get it.

Still looking for a response, anyone?

Thanks,

It's no joke, you uninstall VLC. Then when you reinstall you should have an option for shell integration or something like that. Uncheck it.

I could use a sad face at the end of my sentence :(

But that doesn't look as good as a smiley

I was able to disable the shell integration on reinstall.

In the install options, it's called CONTEXT MENUS.

I couldn't have succeeded without dionoea's detailed description and help on this matter! Thanks much.
