VLC and Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2

Dear,
I looking for a usb capture device on w32 in order to have mobility with my laptop like Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2. So I have read this link:

but nothing about usb device.

Here it seem to have some problem:

i don't know about these devices, but i can advice you

if you buy in a shop, go and test the device in the shop with your laptop before buying

if you buy on the net..
