Problems viewing videos on webpages with VLC and Firefox

Hi,
i love using VLC as my mediaplayer and i love using Firefox as my browser.
But when im trying to view video-clips from http://www.efukt.com and my local newspaper, it just do not show the video, to watch video-clips i have to change to Opera or IE.
Anyone having the same problem ?
Using Firefox 1.5.0.7 and VLC 0.9.0-svn-20060921-1137 on Windows XP.
