Moo! (unicows)

Postby Livestick » 05 Sep 2006 00:16

I installed VLC today and, of course, it doesn't work. When I try to run it I get a message that says:
Error while loading DLL 'unicows.dll'!
The application will terminate now.
I've tried everything I can think of, andd nothing's work. Um...help?

Ah. That bit off to the side was off the screen on my system, so I didn't see it. Thanks!

Windows 95/98/Me users: Please note that these versions of Windows are not officially supported. No VideoLAN developer uses any of these systems, which makes them hard to support.
Virtual PC 2004 is now free:

VMware Server is also available for free:
http://www.vmware.com/products/server/

So developers now have no excuse not to test things on Win9x/ME :P

The two MSLU files need to be put in the C:\Windows\System32\ folder.
No, C:\Windows\System\ is the correct location on a Win9x/ME system.
