How do I change the language in VLC

Well. I am using the latest version of VLC and somehow, I cant change the language: because where the hell do you do that?

One more thing, Its really, really weird, because it is basically running in two languages now: English and Swedish - and I have no freakin idea, absolutely, what so ever, why more than half of the buttons and settings are in Swedish while some are in English?! This has got to be a huge error! Because my WinXP is solely in English. Hell, I dont even know where Sweden is placed on a map.

So whats the deal here? Why isnt a super-software like this functioning properly? I have tried using the RESET button (or "Nullstil or wtf its called in Swedish), but the langauge is still Swedish!

Any help`?

By default VLC picks the installed language for your system. So if VLC is incorrect, more than likely it's your system that is screwed up.

You will need to go to your control panel and fix it before trying the changes suggested for VLC.
