Subtitle position below movie

Postby Guest » 13 Jun 2006 11:49

Hi guys. Need help.
I've tried to move subtitle in Settings -> Preferences -> Video ->
Subtitles/OSD Checked advanced options to give me -Force subtitle position-
and went in ( -20 ) position, but subtitle ain't moving below movie.
Is this a bug or I need to do something else. Because I don't like subtitles to go over movie, because in widescreen I'm missing a lot of things.
Ver. is 0.8.5.

Subtitles can only be moved within the encoded video. If the movie is cropped the subs can NOT be moved above or below the video.

So what this means is that if a 16:9 format is presented within a 4:3 frame the sub may be moved below the 16:9 video. If the 16:9 format is presented in a 16:9 frame it can not be moved where there is no video.
