AVI files

Postby Lenore » 28 May 2006 15:29

Hey...
I usually use VLC to play my AVI files, and it works fine, but I have some AVI files I created using a video capture program called CamStudio and although they play fine in other players they dont work in VLC. They seem to load okay but all I get is a black screen the whole way through.
Can anyone help?
Id really like to get them working in VLC so I can use the wallpaper feature.
Thanks,
-L

What codecs do these files use ? (see the "stream and media info" dialog in VLC to find out)

If all videos in varying containers have this issue you should consider updating your video drivers.
