DVD deinterlace setting

Hi /\^^\/ !
I looked through the faq and the forum, and I can't find an answer to my question, so here goes :
When I play a DVD, the Deinterlace option by default is "None". How do I tell VLC that when I play a DVD, I want the "blend" deinterlace option on by default ?
My Preferences/Video/Filters/Deinterlace are both already set on "Blend", but the Deinterlacing is always off when I play a DVD...
Thanks in advance !
