I'm running my ATI USB TV Wonder 2.0 Capture card into my PC and trying to play games on it, but the lag is just too much, any tips? I'd really appriciate it. Thanks!

what does this have to do with VLC?

Most of the time the delay is caused by the device it self. However, you can adjust the cache buffer within VLC. I believe the default is 200 or 300 ms.

When you open the capture device there is an option in Advanced options called "Caching" the default is 300 ms. Change it!

I believe there is also a Preferences option that can be saved if you can find a value that works for you.

Tried it. Didn't work. Looks like I gotta lug the TV back into the dorm now. That is unless anybody has any more tips.
Thanks anywho
