I just downloaded the VLC player for Windows and want to play some .swf files, but I have no clue what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To the best of my knowledge VLC does not support the Flash File Format (SWF).

Check out supported formats!

I don't think vlc can play .swf (flash) files

On a slightly related note, ffmpeg (which is used by vlc) can convert .flv (flash video) to .avi - though I don't think vlc has this ability. Videos in flash are generally in seperate files of this type (probably on the web somewhere) - you'd have to check your network activity or something to find out where they are really stored though.
