Vlc freezing

Thanks for adding me...I searched but couldn't find a problem like mine. I run twelve hours of back to back prerecorded shows of my internet radio station in VLC and stream them through OBS to Vaughnlive.tv 24/7 , Streaming at 30 fps, never dropping frames...the content just freezes. Other times I stream software that plays nonstop music from OBS..VLC is not being used for that.. When streaming the recorded audio/video content, many times during a twenty four hour period, the stream will freeze, requireing me to exit OBS and restart..BUT..when streaming the music software (audio only) It never freezes..it will run for days with no issues. Even if I lose connection to my ISP (comcast), the reconnected stream will start and continue without incident. The music comes from a desktop window capture, while the recorded shows are vlc files. This stream originates from a dedicated HP PC, that is used for nothing else..just streaming the aforementioned contect. Since it only happens within the VLC content, the problem would appear to be limited to VLC. All latest updates are present across all the related software. PC specs hp sff I5 @ 3.2 ...16 GIG DDR3 RAM..Samsung 2tb ssd..AMD Radeon R7 240 gpu....Comcast Download speed 896.14 Mbps...Upload speed 23.65 Mbps. I would greatly appreciate any insight as to why this happens as well as possible solutions...Thanks for taking time to read this somewhat lengthy quesion, but I thought it best to fully describe all pertinant infromation...

I may have solved my fereezing issue. The stream was still going fine this morning...usually it will freeze overnight..I spent a couple hours searching for answers yesterday online and and discovered the cashe settings deep inside the VLC software needed to be changed..After setting them from zero to 2000 ...So far I havent had any issues...fingers and eys crossed for good luck....

Over three days it can be anything, either from the stream itself or something happening on the computer. Hard to tell without a messages log.

From VLC. Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, keep the messages window open during the whole process and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.
