Video Playback controls not working

Hello all

I'm new to the forum but happily & thankfully using VLC Player for very long.
I am now having issues with playback on Version: 3.0.20 for Windows 11 64bit.

Video Playback controls are not working as intended or as it usually did. No matter how I set the Playback settings > Fit to Window / Zoom / Aspect Ration / Crop, the video in the player always come out distorted and cut off.
Here is a compiled screenshot showing all the setting on Default & the standard 1920x1080 resolution video details, but still the video is cropped & cut in a small square area of the software.

It even makes no difference if I activate the Fit to Window + set Zoom to 1:1 Original + Aspect Ration to 16x9 + Crop 16x9. The video show another size in the software, but is still cropped and distorted.

Am I the only one getting this issue?
Anyone that can give me advice on how to fix this so videos just plays the complete video in the right proportions?

Looks like you have enabled some video filters.
Check Tools -> Effects and Filters (or Ctrl+E) -> Video Effects
Then disable everything there, check all of the tabs, save the settings then exit and restart VLC.

Brilliant, thanks @Lotesdelere that worked perfectly to get VLC back to normal. I have no idea how this one setting got changed. Thanks so much for your fast help.
