VLC is having trouble displaying youtube SRT files properly.
''Too long; Didn't Read'' Summary. The SRT file displays properly on youtube, but when I download the SRT, it doesn't display properly in VLC.
Details.
VLC is having trouble displaying youtube SRT files properly.
On youtube, the video displays the SRT files properly.
On VLC, the lines keep appearing in the wrong order, basically on top of eachother.
I looked it up, but I can't find out how to fix this.
Please help me.
YouTube. SRT subtitles are displaying right. VLC. SRT subtitles are displaying not-right.
Here's an image.
Having some trouble embedding images, at the time of writing this, apparently.

The example I'm using in this case is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X-AuiWwEnc
Net Cafe - 19961002 - NC101 - Hackers - YouTube
Here's a link to the SRT file.

The video is low quality because my web host doesn't allow too-large file-sizes.
You can download the youtube video by looking up how to download youtube videos and yotuube srt files online, or whatever you use.
I know the titles ''hackers'' and this could have negative connotations of being malicious, or whatever, but, that's just bad coincidence.
As a disclaimer, I'm not trying to advertise, or do anything bad or anything, this is the problem.
I also checked out the IRC channel, but no fast response, so trying here.
I apologize in advance.
Also you can use any video or example you want to. I think a lot of the youtube SRT files don't display right in VLC, or the ''auto-generated'' ones, and stuff.
I know this post isn't good; I just wanted to tell someone.
