Resume Video When Re-opening on Windows 11

Postby Ptolemy2002 » 16 Jul 2024 18:34

I recently downloaded a very long video (almost 40 hours) that will be watched over several sessions. I have attempted to enable this by switching the "Continue Playback?" setting (under "Tools > Preferences") from "never" to "always". Despite this, there does not seem to be any change in behavior, nor is there a change when switching the setting to "Ask". I can confirm that the setting is saved and looked at various sources for doing this, all of which imply that changing this setting should be the only thing I need to do.

My VLC version is 3.0.20 Vetinari, and I'm using Windows 11 to run the application.

Did you reopen the video? If not, nothing will happen.
