Hi there,

I am currently using version 3.0.14 Vetinari, and the reason for this is that it allows me to move the full-screen control bar/mini toolbar (I'm not sure what it's called). In the latest version of VLC, I am unable to do this. I have two questions:

1: Can I disable the update reminder whenever I open VLC?
or
2: Is there an option to move the full-screen control bar that might be disabled in the newer version?

1: Tools -> Preferences -> Interface
At the bottom in the Privacy/Network Interaction section untick the Activate Updates Notifier option then save, exit and restart VLC for the change to take effect.

2: Not that I know. Reset the preferences and cache (the manual way) and try again:
