VLC don't open m2ts files with subtitles

I have a m2ts video file that opens normally when not associated with subtitle files. But when I do, the video blackouts and stop playing. The blue bar starts "charging" but then stops. I searched here and someone told that m2st only opens with sup files but I already tried that and didn't work. Does anyone have any idea of what's going on?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to WeTransfer.com or Disroot.org and then post the link to the file here.

200 MB max should be enough but a full complete short file is better.

IIRC VLC can't play external subtitles with *TS files or timings reasons:
