Audio difference between iOS and Windows apps

Postby Psychoschizm » 29 Mar 2024 18:18

When I play an mkv file on my iphone, it sounds fine. When I play the same file on my computer, it sounds very tinny, like I'm listening to it in a bucket. Any ideas what could be causing this, or how to fix it.

(Just for reference, I downloaded the VLC app and have made no changes or anything, just opened up the file and tried to listen)

What settings should I adjust?
Drivers are all up to date, and MPV had the same issue.

Reset the preferences (the manual way) and try again:

Return to “VLC media player for Windows Troubleshooting”
