Need help killing the "oops, crashed" window automatically

I've been running VLC v3.xx to play a loop of videos on a cheap mini-pc in my store and it works well. except I did notice that I often get the "oops vlc has crashed" in the mornings. I believe it's because the PC runs video 24/7, but the TV IS turned off at night sometimes. When I press the OK button, the playlist starts playing again immediately. I thought this would be an easy fix, but can't get there. I just don't want the window or all or create something to close it automatically for when I'm not there.

Does anyone know how I can intentionally cause a crash so I can explore ways of dealing with it?

The machines are intel 4500 chipsets with onboard video (very weak), but plays HD just fine. If I disable hardware, it just can't play so I need to keep that enabled.

Thanks!

Playing a playlist of what ? Music ? Videos ?
Does it always crash when playing the same file ?

Well, we have a folder that we drop promotional videos into whenever and i have a simple script that creates a playlist of whatever is in the folder that creates a new playlist each day. It's worked for years and never has a problem if we leave the Tv on. but if we turn off the tv, i get the error "sometimes", so that's why I was hoping to just find a way to kill it. Never had a file that was "bad" as they play fine when manually restarted. I thought it might be a playlist problem, as the files are just deleted at the end of the day, but that just gives a normal error that I was able to kill in options.

But you don't answer my question: does it always crash when playing the same file ?
You should see where it stops in the playlist.

Ok, no it does not and again will play through fine afterwards. Do you know how to do any of the things I asked about? Because that would great.

AFAIK VLC has no built-in feature for automatically closing a window.
Maybe with an external software like AutoHotkey:

I'm aware, worth asking I guess. Thanks.
