Interface too large

Hello. I've recently come across a conundrum which makes little sense.

My text size/interface is way too large on my 1080p screen. I have Hi DPI Scaling turned off/at 100% in Windows, and DPI setting for VLC set to on application open, but the text and interface are still larger than every other text font on my system.

I updated to the latest version, hoping that would fix it, but it didn't, and I'm completely confused as to why this is happening, when it never did it before.

See below screenshots of the situation.

I run on Windows 11 as well

I don't see what is wrong, this is the normal size of this window.
The font is a bit large but this might have to do with the default font you are using on your Windows system.

It never used to be this large though, even when I upgraded to Win 11. I never changed default font either in Windows so I don’t know why this would happen, because all other applications are perfectly fine

AFAIK there is no setting for the font used by the interface in VLC for Windows.
So it's all about the fonts settings of your system.

I have the exact Opposite issue, The text over the years has now become so small it is illegible. My Eyes aren't as good as when VLC first came out. Can you help an old man out and create a way you control the size independent of Windows OS
