Hello About 3 week ago I've installed vlc on my windows 10 pc , and a today i got this pop-up from windows defender firewall "Windows defender firewall has blocked some features of vlc" asking me to give it access to my network , I dint use any of the meta/network features so its very weird for me to get this message is it safe/normal to get it without using any of the features ?

When i installed VLC it asked if i wanted to automatically check for updates and i clicked on no also I'm on the most recent build can it still want to check based on those 2 pieces of information ?
