I have a MSI laptop with Intel i7-4710HQ CPU , and 16GB RAM.
Its running on Windows10 and have VLC 3-0.18
When i try to play Gopro 5K mp4 videos, VLC starts up and play, but the picture freezes after a few seconds. Why?
(When I use Windows media player, it the movies plays like normal, so files are not corrupt).

If it doesn't help then open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.
