Teletext subtitles: some diacritics are "broken"

Hello everyone!

Recently, I've been watching some .ts files that contain teletext and teletext subtitles on page 887 or 888.
However, I noticed that some diacritics are broken, literally. Only of the character is shown.

Here's a list of broken characters I've been able to find:

Supported diacritics: á, à, é, í, ó, ú, ç
Unsupported diacritics: Ã, Â, ã, É, ê, Í, Õ, Ó, ô, õ, Ç
Unsupported characters: # (we use this for music, like a musical note)

Now, here are some images of what happens:

Please upload a short sample of your original problematic file to WeTransfer.com or Disroot.org and then post the link to the file here.

I can't reproduce the issue, your sample is working fine for me using page 887, all accentuated letters are showing fine.
Although there is no ã in your sample file.

I opened the file and was about to change the text rendering module, but before that, I went to the VBI and Teletext section, changed the teletext presentation level to 2.5 and it fixed the problem! All the characters with diacritics show correctly, now.
Awhile ago, I was experimenting with teletext and noticed that some Portuguese channels used the 2.5 level, so that's why I changed it.

Solution: Go to Tools > Preferences > All > Input / Codecs > Subtitle Codecs > VBI and Teletext > Change Presentation Level to 2.5
