3.0.18 introduces minor issues when playing back audio

You can view it on action
right here. It is not present on other VLC versions, only the newest version exhibits this. On this specific file, it always happens at 2:21 mark. There were few more that I've noticed that the playback would pause very shortly, but I can't remember the others so this is what I could only present. I could send the file that's in use for checking purposes, but since the file played here is most likely copyrighted, I'll better off not do it here. Probably on PMs on a temporary file hosting site.
Using Windows 10, on 21H2 update.
Please don't mind me using Audacity for the purposes of demonstrating this, I have no other audio player installed, I don't even have Windows Media Player installed after I debloated Windows.

When playing what kind of ile ?
Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2)
before you start the playback, and then paste the
full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.
Also upload a
short sample of your
original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here or send me the link via PM.

Yes, this is a known issue with FLAC files which is affecting all current versions of VLC on any OS which has been addressed here:
https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/ ... uests/2918
So it should be fixed in
nightly builds.

What is the latest version that did not had this issue? I'll just use it.
EDIT: I happened to have 3.0.17.4 and it works fine. Still prefer to have later version where it is working.

Just to be clear, is this the specific problem people are having with 3.0.18 (please see image in link) ? Easier to show than explain, but it sounds like what people are describing. I ripped hundreds of my old CDs to HDD and was worried I'd botched them all. Turns out the audio files were just fine, it was just the player. And yes, they're all FLAC.

Well yeah, obviously existing versions don't magically get fixes from the future (relatively speaking). A bug that was introduced by 3.0.18 will never be fixed in 3.0.18.

Is there any estimate for the 3.0.19 version release? I had to switch to a different player because of the issue. It happens with all my FLAC files

Sorry, but the web site still offers 3.0.18 only.
