avcodec framerate error - Reporting a higher vertical resolution that what the file was exported as but is plays on MPC

Having an issue playing .MP4 files in VLC. The room resolution is 15360 x 1080 which is what the file was exported at which also includes 8 channels of audio. The audio plays fine however a continuous string of errors print out that say "avcodec error: Invalid frame size 15360x1090 vsz 15360x1080"

The video / audio plays fine in Media Player Classic.

I have rolled back to several version of VLC and have disabled hardware acceleration, changed the thread count and buffer size, and tried Open GL video as the output but get the same results.

Feedback that was recently provided elsewhere is "Frame dimensions are limited to 8192 pixels for safety reasons" but I don't understand how that relates to the resolution issue since this use to work in previous versions

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:

200 MB max should be enough.
