Possible Bug: Main VLC Window Height Increasing

Postby MCKitch » 30 Aug 2022 04:05

An issue I've noticed over a number of version and is apparent in the current version (3.0.17.4 Vetinari). When continuing a viewing of a DVD (or DVD .iso file), a "Continue?" menu bar appears at the top of the main VLC window. The window height is adjusted to allow for the menu bar's height. You are able to click on the button or leave it to expire and it will close. However, the extra height is added to the saved height for the window. This seems only to be an issue when you have set the option to play a video in fullscreen mode on opening.

To workaround the issue, you can manually adjust the window height (when not in fullscreen mode) via the standard Windows system menu for the main window.
