Help Please: Problem Converting MP4 to TS file!

Help Please...
I'm trying to convert an MP4 to a TS file, as follows...

Step 1. Run VLC Media Player, navigate to top menu bar and press "Media".
Then select "Convert/Save" in context menu.

Step 2. On the pop-up "Open Media" window, click on "+Add" button to import the MP4 file you want to convert,
and press "Convert/Save" button.

Step 3. Now in the "Convert" window, choose "Video - H.264 + MP3 (TS)" in the drop-down list of "Profile".

Step 4.
Then I Set the destination folder to save the converted TS video.

Step 5.
Finally, hit "Start" button to start the conversion process.

However:
@ Step 4, the 'destination text box' shows the correct download path and file name, but its file-suffix is still MP4
And the 'converted file' is still MP4 !

And this file-suffix is always MP4, regardless of which file profile I choose!

In step 4 change the file extension from mp4 to ts and Save.
