ASPECT RATIO SELECTOR not working in full screen interface

Using WINDOWS 10 - I customized the FULL SCREEN CONTROLLER to include the "aspect ratio selector" - problem is that in the FULL SCREEN view this selector does not allow me to select anything. It lists the choices briefly but they disappear before i can choose one. I also added the "aspect ratio selector" to the main toolbar and THERE it works correctly. Is there a fix for this? thank you.
