Hello folks,

i have the newest Version of VLC.

Is there any chance to repeat one title or the list without the buttons?

In windows 11 (not in windows 10) i can't see a difference between "list no repeat" and "list repeat". The same issue is if the shuffle mode (?). In Screenshot (see above) thies are most right corner two buttons.

You can use the MInimal Interface mode (Ctrl + H to toggle) and then use the hotkeys for everything. Some buttons and therefore also the hotkeys have to be pressed twice to jump to the loop functions. In the preferences menu (Ctrl + P to open) you'll find a hotkeys menu top right.

Tnx, that isn't the resolution. I think you don't understand the problem. Have you seen my screenshot? do you have windows 11?

ctrh + h switches to the interface with the problem "you can't see any difference between repeating the media list or not" and also "you can't see any difference to playing mode (shuffle or playing titles in order)". Highlightning, shadows or any other do not work with windows 11 in vlc. i have the newest version i tried changing the style. nothing work there isn't a chance to make the mode visible also there isn't a chance in preferences menu to change the behaviour of that buttons. you can configure which buttons are avaible in the minimal interface but not there behaviour. i also tried several skins. but all skins have the same misstake. a solution is maybe changing the button layout between activated and not activated. this is only done by vlc if you switch in repeating the current mediatitle only.

to play me music media i use another app called aimp. Aimp does not have that problem. if you change beetween shuffle and order playing the button changed it's layout. also the button is highlighted if function is activated.

remember: vlc does not have this problem with windows 10. i can't be the only user that have this problem? i have this problem on several machines. so it can't be a problem with one of my machines. so it must be a problem in combination of vlc and windows 11.

Hi, I can't see the screenshot anymore, is the problem happening with a skin or with the default Qt interface?

It's a Problem with the default qt interface and also with alternative skins. In older versions the button changes its color or at has a 3d-change or shadow-change.

isn't there the possibilty to upload a file in this forum?



In this Screenshot you can see the two right buttons look similar to the other buttons but the function (shuffle and repeat) is active. If you habe a 2k or 4k resolution you can't see any difference

Nope, you have to use a third party hosting site like https://postimages.org or https://imgur.com for images, or https://www.zippyshare.com or https://wetransfer.com for sample files and other uploads.

ok, fine everyone can see the screenshot
maybe in a future release or update we have a solution? to me it's a minor problem. it's not a bug but any change can make this great peace of software greater in use with windows 11 in high resolution.

Just wondering if there is an update to this? This bug greatly affects the usability of the app in Windows 11.
