About playing the http file!

I used vlc-0.8.1 and vlc-0.8.2 on the windowxp or window2000 client, and the server is windows2000 server(installed IIS). I can most run two or three client and play http file, but can't play the forth client. I can run the forth and more if the server changed to linux(RedHat 9.0).
Why? Can you help me??

It can run many client if the server use windows2000 and the client redhat 9.0.
It will occur the problem when the server and client are all windows.
Why?

What settings are you using with each server?
What MRL are you using to connect?

I used the windows 2000 server for the server, and the windows XP for the client. The server installed IIS and setted for web server. The MRL is the following:
http://192.168.0.1/song/myfile.avi
