Playlist visibility issue (on revert from fullscreen mode)

I'm using set of video-lessons for coding nowadays.
My scenario is like this:
- load set of videos from the folder for the next topic to study to VLC (secondary display),
- choose the particular video-file using VLC built-in playlist,
- switch VLC to full-screen mode and develop the code (I have Visual Studio open on my primary display) using multimedia pause/play buttons of my keyboard when necessary.
Quite often I need to refresh some points from the previous lessons.
I exit from full-screen mode and see no built-in playlist visible.
I then need to re-enable it (built-in playlist) MANUALLY before I can choose which video to switch to.
Then I enable full-screen mode again
Step of constantly switching playlist visibility on annoys me a bit.
I'd like to know:
if it possible to setup VLC so that built-in playlist visibility after exit fullscreen mode kept same as it was before entering fullscreen mode.
I'm using VLC version 3.0.16.
