Thank you for taking a look. I deeply appreciate your investment of time and effort here.
VLC version 3.0.12 Vetinari.
Windows 10, 64 bit
User is age 59, inexperienced with computer hardware and software, and suffers from severe mental illness, which means easily confused, easily stressed. If you are an impatient or hasty person, please just stop reading now.

Goal is to Batch Rip audio CDs to a flash drive. Evidently VLC is only configured to rip one track at a time, unacceptably slow/cumbersome.

A forum thread on this topic exists, but it does not work.
The thread is titled
"Is there a way to batch rip an entire CD, not just track by track?"

Windows 10 will not open a .BAT file.
Besides that, I find the instructions nonexistent / highly confusing. A YouTube video showing steps would be more helpful.
