[Audio Conversion] Why only 512 kb/s for Audio-CD profile?

I'm trying to convert my MLP audio collection to WAV. When I go Media > Convert / Save and choose Audio -CD profile in the profile settings I select the Audio codec tab, change codec to WAV
the default bitrate is only 128 kb/s and you can change it to 512 max. Image
For all I know for audio CD quality I need 1,411 kilobits per second so why the 512 limit?
Regards,
David

that WAV codec is uncompressed, the bitrate is defined by the samplerate. 1,411 kbs is 44.1 kHz * 2 channels * 16bits/sample

The bit rate field is purely advisory for the encoder. In the case of raw PCM, it is not used since the bit rate is entirely fixed by the number of channels, sample rate, and bit depth.
