subtitles: part of last character gets cut off and placed at the begining.

Postby Kaitozas » 17 Oct 2021 20:30

Hello, I'm using VLC version 3.0.16 on Windows 10. I have added a ".srt" sub track to a ".mkv" video. The subtitles are in Japanese, although I am not sure if that's relevant. My problem is that sometimes the last 1/3 or so of the last character gets cut off even though there's plenty of space after it, and what is even weirder, the part that was cut off appears at the beginning of the line.
A few examples:

I have tried tinkering with the settings a little bit, but nothing changed.
Has anyone ran into a similar problem? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You should create a new ticket on the VLC Trac with your above report, the links to some sample files and the link to this thread:
