the screenshots are not color-saturated

I change the color saturation of videos from the settings. However, the screen shots I get are not color-saturated. Is there a way I can fix this?

This is what I see on VLC (I took it with windows screenshot):

I like my VLC screenshots to be color-saturated.

I think the VLC portrayal is much more accurate than the Windows version. In the latter than rain is blue.

But if you insist on unrealistic colours than hit Ctrl + E to open the Effects and Filters menu, click the Video tab and then adjust the Hue, Saturation etc., to your liking. Save, exit and restart vlc.

That's what I've done. The problem is the new colors are not reflected in the screenshots I take with VLC.

There is no solution yet, someone must create a new ticket about this on the VLC Trac:
