Blu Ray playback crashes VLC, only if menus enabled

Postby GHender3 » 08 Aug 2021 16:09

I am having issues with VLC 3.0.16 crashing when beginning to play a Blu Ray disc when menus are enabled. Windows 10, build 2004, Java 8, 64-bit.

Without menus, there are no apparent issues. I used Tools, Messages, verbosity=2 and let the disc play for roughly 60 seconds, and put the log on Pastebin

Since VLC crashed very suddenly when Blu Ray menus were turned on, Tools, Messages wasn't an option. I set up a debug logger in Preferences, Advanced and got a log.

Unfortunately, Pastebin has deemed the content "questionable/objectionable" and it can't be set for public access.

I've uploaded the log to Dropbox

Thanks

You should create a new ticket on the VLC Trac with your above report, the link to your log and the link to this thread:
