What determines if VLC treats a video as VR?

Postby gx240 » 09 Apr 2021 01:50

Occasionally if I open a VR video in VLC it will correctly display it as a VR video. Most of the time it won't. But I can't figure out exactly what causes VLC to detect a video as VR.

Is it something in the metadata? Something in the filename? Is there a way to enable or disable VR playback for a specific video?
